Let us introduce ourselves
When you arrive at the charming Schlossplatz and stand before the historic Zum Schwan inn in Höchst, you are immediately immersed in the centuries-old history of this remarkable location.
Nestled between the Main River and the old town, it’s the perfect spot to relax. In the summertime, you can enjoy a cozy seat on the veranda with a direct view of the castle. Since September 8, 2023, Zum Schwan has been renewed and rejuvenated, shining brighter than ever.
Historically, the Schwan served as the brewery for the long-gone inn “Der Karpfen,” which is why today we emphasize serving high-quality and carefully selected beers.
No Frankfurt inn is complete without a good “Stöffche.” We exclusively offer the apple wine from the Steden cider mill in Oberursel.
To complement our beverage selection, we also feature selected wines from the “Winzer von Erbach eG” in the Rheingau region.

Our Cuisine and Traditions
Our kitchen team crafts traditional German dishes using local ingredients and offers seasonal specialties. Our down-to-earth yet creative weekly menu is a guest favorite. Every Friday, our fried fish with potato salad and green sauce has become a beloved tradition.
A hidden gem is our freshly baked cakes on weekends. If you’re lucky, you might get a warm slice with a generous dollop of whipped cream.
For groups of up to 20 people, you can exclusively rent our “Stubb.” For larger groups, it’s possible to reserve the entire inn.
